Do you believe a community can be changed by the presence of a gospel-centered ministry to vulnerable children and families? At MCCH, we do, and we’re seeing it happen in the Luanda, Kenya, community every day! Stories of Hope 2021 is an event where MCCH staff and ministry partners will share some of the stories of hope and transformation happening on the ground in Kenya through the power of the Holy Spirit and ministry of Mescal’s Children’s Center of Hope. At this event, we’ll also share with ministry partners, both new and old, our thanks for their support and opportunities for continued partnership with MCCH!
This year’s events will be held at Lineville Baptist Church in Lineville, AL, on Sunday, October 17th at 3:00 p.m., as well as Frazer UMC in Montgomery, AL, on Sunday, October 24th, at 2:30 p.m. We’re also excited to bring Stories of Hope to West Alabama this year with an event in Northport, AL, at Arbor Springs Baptist Church on Sunday, November 14th at 5:00 p.m. This year’s events will include a time of fellowship with a dessert and fruit bar, a time of story-telling, and a silent auction at the Montgomery location. Additionally, items crafted by MCCH's Hands of Hope program members will be available for purchase at the Lineville and West Alabama events.
