SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMS

Soon after Ruth began sharing the story of how God was working in Kenya through the ministry of MCCH (at that time called The Kima Center), it became clear that individuals desired a way to directly support the work of caring for vulnerable children, as well as a way to connect with children being impacted through the ministry.

In response to this desire, MCCH's sponsorship program was formed! Today, sponsors are connected to a child (or children) in the children's home or guardianship program whom sponsors support via a monthly donation to MCCH. Monthly sponsorship donations are used to pay for school fees, food, clothing, and other essential items for a child. Sponsors are able to communicate with their sponsor child via letters and cards, and are provided with updated information and pictures of their sponsor child as information becomes available. Children are also provided with a picture of their sponsor, which they cherish and use to pray regularly for their sponsor!

With the opening of Mescal's Christian Academy (MCA) in July 2021, we are excited to expand the sponsorship program to include sponsorship opportunities for community children who will attend MCA at no cost to their families. Our desire is to provide the most vulnerable children in the community with a Christ-centered education, regardless of their family's ability to pay school fees.
