During the mission trip to MCCH in August, 2014, team members met with the building contractor and made plans for the new building. They met on the 2.4 acre building site, which is a beautiful piece of rural, fertile farm land.
The new facility will have indoor plumbing that will allow for a much healthier and safer environment for Mescal's Kids. Also, the fertile land will allow them to harvest crops of maize, kale, tomatoes, and other vegetables, that will help move them toward the goal of self-sufficiency.
