One of the highlights of the mission trip to Kenya, was doing a Vacation Bible School for about 150 children who live in the surrounding community of Luanda, the site where the new building for MCCH will be.
Ruth enlisted women in her community to help, and the children were served a lunch of rice and beans.
They responded with interest to the music, crafts and Bible Stories. The highlight of our time with these children was when the gospel was presented, several responded to the invitation to ask Jesus into their hearts and prayed to receive Christ as Savior. Ruth will be continuing to minister to these children and their families.
