Board member, Pat McWhorter, his sons, Dyer and Carter, along with others from Frazer UMC in Montgomery, Alabama, went to Kenya in November, 2011. There they met Ruth's husband, Kenneth, and daughters, Lynette and Dorothy. In fact, they went to a men's prison and helped to minister there and saw many men to come to Christ.
Pat fell in love with Ruth's family and marveled at the work of grace he had done in their lives.
