MCCH is blessed to have a united, cross cultural team; working together to serve the needs of the ministry.
Kenya Team
Lilian Ibrahim Owuor
Guardianship Program Coordinator
Lilian is a public affairs and communications specialist. She specialized in public relations and has worked with a number of public relations organizations. She has gained considerable experience in assembling and managing alliances to meet communication objectives. She has been actively engaged with the Mescal's children since 2016 when she first visited the center and she was awed by the zeal the children have for God. She worked with a bank, but left for her passion to help with ministering to Mescal’s children. Lilian holds the position of Guardianship program coordinator and is married to Steven Owuor.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media and communication technology and is looking forward to pursuing her Masters degree in the near future.

USA Team
Jeff Bush
U.S. Board Vice President and Special Projects Manager
Having grown up in the Montgomery area, Jeff and his wife, Anna, now make their home in Thomasville, Georgia. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery, Jeff went on to earn a Master of Arts in Worship Studies degree and a Master’s in Business Administration degree from Liberty University. Jeff worked in church ministry for over 10 years and has spent the last 5 years as a small business owner with Jeff Bush Videography. Jeff enjoys traveling and hiking, as well as playing basketball, pickleball, and golf in his spare time! When Jeff was asked what drew him to Mescal’s and what keeps him actively serving with the ministry, he shared the following: “My wife Anna and I learned about Mescal's through her Aunt who was involved with Mescal's and we have been involved ever since. We have been to Kenya twice, including living with Ruth for just over a month in the summer of 2015. Our plans are to continue to visit our Mescal's family in Kenya as often as the Lord allows!”

Emily Naler
Program Director
Emily joined the MCCH team as Program Director in March 2020, but she has been involved with the ministry since meeting Ruth in 2010 and making her first trip to Kenya in 2014. Having grown up in different parts of west-central Alabama, Emily attended Mississippi College and obtained a bachelor's degree in social work before moving to Tifton, GA, and serving in student ministry for 5 years. During that time, she was blessed to be able to lead a team of students to serve at MCCH in 2016. After leaving Tifton, Emily moved to Columbus, GA, and went on to work as a pregnancy counselor and caseworker for Lifeline Children's Services, an adoption ministry based out of Birmingham, AL. Emily moved to Montgomery, AL in 2020 to begin working with MCCH and is so excited to be part of a team and ministry that is focused on reaching vulnerable people in Kenya with the hope of the gospel! She's married to Mitchell and they enjoy spending time with family, being involved with their church community, and hosting people in their home.
